Got a couple at the property up north before towing the boat. Also, it's not hooked up, but a pick of the dump trailer I will be getting in a couple weeks. I'm just trying to decide between 12, 14, and 16 foot and whether I want drops axles. Either way it's gonna be 3600 lbs empty for the 12 ft and 4600 for the 16.

Thanks. And yep, I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't ride anymore.

Picking up a pallet of shavings at the feed store yesterday. Note the 3-way on board security system in the back seat.

Don't know what you'll be hauling with the dump trailer but choose wisely. A 12' at 10k GVW can be manageable behind a properly equipped F150. But a 12' is too small if you want to put equipment in it. A 16' is way easy to overload and a heck of a hitch weight when that happens. A 14' at 14000 GVW is a nice trailer and better balanced overall. Have never seen a WDH for a dump trailer. Not sure how to set one up when your 14k one minute and 4.4 K the next.
Here's a 14' dump behind my F150. Only time I hook a dump trailer to the F150 is for loads of 2 tons or less.

Towing a 8.5'x30' trailer stuffed with quads, gear , etc to the off road park sat. Total weight was about 7,500lbs. Truck handled great and the Eco was awesome!!!!! Averaged 10mpg for the trip which is not to bad.

I will be using it for haul off of construction and landscape materials/debris from my side work. Also for getting gravel, concrete, etc, and scrap. Plus I will use it occasionally to haul my grandpa's tractor. Plus after I own it I'm sure I'll find more uses. I was looking at a 16 ft, so if I need to haul atv's I could fit 4, but that's allot of weight and extra money just to carry one more quad. I'm now looking at a 12 since it weighs 3600 lbs, and my roofing boss has a 12 and seems to do alright. I also did consider that with something as big as a 16 I would be putting a BUNCH of weight with it full vs a filled 12. And from what I know all the ones I'm looking at are treated at 14000. As for hauling, I think I'm gonna be buying my bosses 1 ton sierra with the 8.1/Allison, but would still like to be able to use my f150 if I don't. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

Yep... Mechanics wire is my new best friend lol! Sure was a lot handier than cutting it into four 5' lengths and glueing it back together when I got home!
