What kind of transmission temps should i see with the tow package? The max i have seen is about 212 F. Towing a 6000 lb TT with 2.7 ecob.

"Normal" tranny temp when towing is about 205° to 215°. Climbing a steep mountain pass in summertime you might see 220°. 225° is the red line, so don't allow more than 225°.

With a 6,000-pound TT and an otherwise loaded F-150, you're more likely to exceed the payload capacity of your F-150 than overheat the tranny. In the middle of your next camping trip, stop at a truck stop that has a CAT scale, fill up with gas, and weigh the wet and loaded rig - with driver and all passengers and pets in the F-150. Add the weights on the steer and drive axles to get GVW, then compare the GVW to the GVWR of the F-150. If GVW exceeds GVWR, you're overloaded.
