Transmission cooling - 2017 3.5 EB

If you're concerned about transmission temps, I'd also think about upgrading to an 8" cluster so you can have the actual engine coolant and transmission temp numbers all the time. Knowing what your truck runs at without the trailers should be helpful in knowing when the additional load is problematic.

It's an easy swap if you buy a pre programmed one, though, and having both water and transmission temps always displayed makes me feel warm and fuzzy (and allows for using the center screen for a different data set). YMMV, of course.

Max Tow isnt so cool anymore. It used to increase the GVWR by 350 lbs but now the only big benefit you get is the uprated hitch with higher tongue weight. Since you are missing the hitch anyways, you could probably just get the max tow version.
