Default Trailer Tounge Box

Trailer Tounge Box-image.jpgWhat is y'all's take on the situation? I just bought the box at tractor supply it looks really good it seems to be built very well the only issue I'm having is The jack handle will not be able to turn all the way because of the depth of the box.
I do need storage to put straps ropes and other stuff that you would need for a trailer in the box. Should I just go ahead and suck it up and deal with not being able to turn the jack handle all the way and take a little bit extra time in lower in the trailer or find a different box?
BTW, the box is polycarbonate and cost me $85

Not that you want to spend any more money on your sweet trailer, but you could always swap out the tongue jack with a side winding type:

Not really. I got 24 days before that purchase shows up on the credit card statement. If on the 25th day there are no more post from me. Then my wife will be the prime suspect LOL

Doesn't look like it works for your trailer. Do they have a smaller one or is it one size fits all?

Man, I hope we get all your problems solved. Ok, here is the latest but its a $53.00 solution. They also make a 2000 pound version for $28.00. This jack cranks from the front, known as a side wind not the top wind so clearance shouldn't be a problem. Also, your jack and the solution jack are both bolt on so that shouldn't be a problem changing one for the other. Here is the jack from etrailers.

BTW Bulldog is a very good brand. Hope this helps!

Buddy of mine took his handle off (but set it up where he could easily slip it on and use it if needed. He then took a heavy-duty rechargeable drill and put it in his truck. He lifts and drops the jack by hooking the chock to the top of the jack.

Spotter, it does seem like it's one problem after another doesn't it... Actually it is but I'm grateful for this form that's for damn sure LOL. I'm going to go check my local Walmart and see what they have. If I do end up changing out the Jack I would like to get one that has a wheel on the bottom of it so I can just wheel the trailer around as needed
