Trailer hitch locks.
We splurged and bought the Proven Lock. The lock itself is aluminum (+100 bucks for stainless), but the rest is 1/4 inch steel. Also allows the chains/hooks to be locked up.

I like the various locks, honestly the slippery thief's simply show up with their beat up 3/4 ton, wrap the chains around their hitch and shank, and drag it off. If you are highly concerned, chain and lock the wheels, imo.

That's the route I went, no slapping a chain on and calling it a day with my trailers, you will have to deal with the wheel locks.
For my final travel trailer, I'm going to adapt the hubs to accept rear F150 style rotors, so I can install a cable parking brake. I really hate that few trailers have parking brakes, and almost none are travel trailers. Having a cable brake backed up by rubber chocks would make me feel more comfortable at some of the steeper sites I frequent.
