Hi, i live in Canada and when ever the temp outside warms up to -10 to -3 outside my truck thinks that i have a trailer attached then it disconnects and reconnects and so on.
i drive a 2017 for XLT sport 6'-6" truck bed with a full cab and a 5.0L engine. wondering if anyone knows why this is happening

And while you're at it, unplug the connector on the backside of the plug, and the wiring connector a bit further down the line, clean them all, apply dielectric grease liberally on the two connectors, and plug them back in.

What modifications have been done to the truck, including collision damage, alarm, radio...?
