Update - I let the truck sit for 5 days after disabling the Trailer Control Module in Forscan, and it started up just fine. I am going to assume that module being enabled was causing parasitic. Not really sure I have an explanation for it...but at least everything seems to be functioning...

Adjusting the gain and squeezing the brake controller make prompts show on the dash cluster. I will be hooking up the trailer this weekend to test full functionality and will post another update.
