I have had an issue with the BLIS turning off when not using a trailer for periods of time. It has been into the dealership 7 times now and they can only seem to fix it by deleting my saved trailer and redoing a new trailer. This dopes not always work however. This is becoming frustrating as hell. It is set-up as a conventional trailer, just a 15ft motorcycle trailer, yet when attempting to turn it on, it indicates it is not a conventional trailer. 1st time dealership reset the ECM or BCM, do not recall from 7 years ago.
Any insight?

My 2020 Lariat does this sometimes. Seems there are 2 places in menu to turn on. Happens when I don't tow for a few weeks straight.

 

Not had that problem. Or at least noticed it. Perhaps I should check.

 

Not a problem. But try setting trailer length linger next time you hitch up.
