As I understand it, going to 4.10 would be closer to stock and going to 4.56 is a bit lower.

A diesel is the only thing that can be offroad capable and can tow a lot with limited compromise. The torque is your limiting factor honestly. But gears should make it a breeze. Its just the added height makes it squat that much more but since you are getting air bags you should be ok.

That's what I figured since raptor has 4.10 gears. As long as your not worried bout mileage suffering possibly more. The 6.2 is going to pull the weight good but I would recommend a weight distribution hitch. I would never pull without one. I have the Equilizer brand with built in sway control and its amazing. Having a lift I would strongly Recommend looking into a distribution hitch.

Since your truck is lifted and you go off-roading I'm assuming it's a 4x4. What is the cost to regear the front and rear??? Can't be cheap.

I tow a 23' 7000lbs GW toy hauler...and when it's filled, it weight 7000lbs or a bit more.

Plus stuff(gas can, rain tire/wheel, generator) in the truck bed.

My limit is 9600 with my truck and I wouldn't go heavier then I'm already am.

It's kind of hard to tell from your pictures but it looks to me like your truck is definitely sitting nose high. Not sure what you have in the bed of the truck either, perhaps tires?

Do you have an idea of accurate tongue weight on the new rig?

I have the fronts pulled slightly up on the curb. With the bags fully inflated it sits almost level.

Those are two spares, plus a two ton jack, fuel bottle and storage bin. Pretty cool setup that comes completely out.
