39,000+ miles on my '11 and never had the limp mode. Live in the Midwest with every kind of weather possible from HOT (100 deg+), HUMID(90-100%) days to sub-zero snow packed days. We have towed our 5er from the Smokey Mountains to the Ozark Mountains to Upper State New York thru torrential downpours without a miss.
It is also my daily driver so it goes out EVERYDAY!

I so want to believe in this ecoboost but not sure if i am willing to fork out $36k for a truck that "may" have problems when my diesel runs/looks great (except for the horrible mpg‘s). Going to take wife and drive the EB again tomorrow and crunch some numbers. Maybe they will give me an offer i cannot refuse
For 36k, I would venture to say you could purchase a 13.

Well, i bit the bullet and put a down payment on the ‘11 EB. The dealer gave me over $2k more than i was wanting to get for my diesel. I questioned the service department and sales manager extensively on the turbo problems. They both said they have only seen a few problems and fix them with the shield. Yes, i know they could be pumping sunshine up my a**, but since the Carfax was clean, the truck has a 100k mile powertrain warranty, so i said what the heck. The only other regret i may have is the 3.55 gears and no Max Tow package. But, since our camper is only a little over 5k pounds, i figured i would be just fine. If we decide to upgrade our camper, would just give me a reason to get another truck

Mrgooden, i looked at a couple '13's in that price range, they are all pretty bare bones. Since it is my daily driver, i like the comfort options.

I would have thought nearing the end of 13 coupled with Labor Day, a super good deal would have been feasable. I wish you the best of luck on the purchase.
