Default Towing Question

I've looked everywhere, and can't find an answer to my question, so sorry if its repetitive:
I have a 2018 F150 w 2.7 Ecoboost w 3.75 . I want to tow a 5-6K trailer, but the hitch limit is 500lb. Would a WDH allow me to increase the PIN weight at all? Safely?

Crawl under and check the label. Usually 2 ratings, one for just dropping the trailer on the ball and the second when you use a WDH

You're golden on tow rating as your minimum is 8100lb, I doubt you'll exceed that unless it's a toy hauler. Appears you just need to confirm you've got enough payload.
