Default Which towing package?

My window sticker states these options, but there is no option code to determine which type of towing package it has, can any of you shed any light?

Thanks!

S/B 53A. I got the trailer Tow Pkg and it was 53A and cost $1090.00 on the window sticker. Max Tow is 53C and cost nearly a thousand more.

So, under "Functional" on the window sticker, it saysCLASS IV TRAILER HITCH WITH

SMART TRLR TOW CONNECTOR

Does that mean I have package 53B as opposed to 53A ?

You have the 53A - the $1090 option listed on the sticker.

The 'Functional' category items - the Class IV Hitch and Smart Trailer Tow Connector appear on the window sticker but are standard equipment items on Lariat and higher trim levels, which is what I believe you state in your other post is what you have.

The max trailer tow package includes the extended range fuel tank and the 3.73 axle that your sticker shows as separate charges. With those add-ons, the cost is practically the same as the max tow. You still don't have the double leaf springs and the conventual and fifth wheel towing capacities are greater with the max tow.

No. The phrases I listed in my previous message are how the three packages are listed on the sticker. This was confirmed early in the 13th gen run.

Smart trailer tow connector is the 7-pin plug (because the BCM monitors the brake and turn outputs). You can't get a non-smart 7-pin. You get a 7-pin with each of the three sticker listed packages. There is a 4th tow package, it does not get listed on the sticker. It's a hole for a ball in the bumper step, and a 4-pin connector. The F150 build site lists that as the standard tow package.
