Towing mirror for 2019 F150 XLT
#21
I have the factory tow mirrors on my 2019 STX. They are the all black, manual, XL version. I love them so far. This is my first truck, and I went with a 157" wheelbase super crew 6.5' bed truck. I use the mirrors all the time while parking and navigating around tight areas. I have the lower convex mirror adjusted so that I can just barely see the rear tires in the mirror, and down the sides of the truck. I can see vehicles all the way through the blind spot of the truck with the mirrors, and I can also see the lines of parking spaces and any curbs or obstacles that get near the side of the truck or the rear tires.
I was on the fence if I like the big mirrors or not during my test drive, but I've found that I love them now that I have them.

I just towed my new 22' Travel trailer (w/ the snap and zap mirrors) from So Calif. to Sedona AZ and they stayed on tight and never rattled, shaked, or vibrated any more than my stock mirrors. Best $60 spent for an after market product.

BLIS on tow mirrors?
On my 2019 150 I have the BLIS. I talked to my dealership today and am looking at the power tow mirrors but they couldn’t tell me if it supported the BLIS. BLIS really helps out my parents who sometimes drive and have a little more trouble checking 6, so having BLIS on the mirror is awesome. If anyone has upgraded and can confirm if BLIS works on them I’d appreciate it.

They've got BLIS with trailer coverage, so yeah, it's available.

Those are the tow mirrors I am looking at getting for my 2020 F150 Lariat in order to keep all of my options. I think it's a ripoff but hate the clip on mirrors and I want to keep all of my options that I have now.

I just upgraded my 2015 F150 XLT with towing mirrors to a 2019 F150 with the regular mirrors. I thought I would be clever and swap mirrors before I sold the old truck. Everything went great except I don't have spot lights, puddle lamps and my check engine light is on now. I found out this was because the ambient temp sensor was in the mirror on my new truck and somewhere else in the old one. We had to change the whole door harness to get a harness that the mirrors would plug into so I don't know if these wires are even in my harness now. I can live without the spot lights or puddle lamps (however it would be cool if they worked) but I need to do something about getting an ambient temp sensor back. Any suggestions out there?
