1) BLIS keeps picking up trailer itself. Is that likely a measurement issue???
2) DTE calculation seems to be backwards as in it reads more miles to E when I tell it I’m towing vs when I’m in Normal driving. Anyway to recalibrate this? Not a big deal to me I can wait to go to the stealership for next oil change.

How wide is the trailer and how short is the tongue to trailer body? Yes, you need to input trailer data for proper BLIS monitoring for the trailer.

Yes, you can make corrections for the DTE's if they are off via FORScan.

 

May have to delete the current trailer to remove MPG history.

 

I think this is a decent place to post this- I have 2 trailers- a 16' trailer, defined in BLIS, and it works find. A 26' Travel trailer, 8'2" wide, and even though I have set it up, it turns BLIS off. Ford's website says it should work. The dealer seems not to actually understand the technology well enough to answer the question. Ideas anyone?

 

On My '19 I need to enable Blis in 2 menu locations, towing and settings menu.

I know this may sound stupid, but make sure you have it checked correctly. The icons and coloring can be a bit confusing. That said I also found need to reset average mpg history screen.
