what's the tire pressure sticker say for maximum cargo payload? dry weight means little to nothing... so off the gross of the trailer if you don't/can't have it weighed loaded up.

going off the gross of 7k, your tongue weight should be between 700pds (10%) and 1050 pds (15%)... likely Ideally between 12-13% which is about 900 pds. the screws normally have the lowest payload and depending on the package you could be quite low and not have the capacity to haul this. I'm guessing with that high of gearing on the high side, you're around 1500 pds towing capacity and if you have a platinum, you could be just slightly over 1000 pds.

if you're at the high side, you should be fine, but sill be mindful because the 600 pds left after the tongue weight is add will be consumed very quickly. if you're on the lowend, you likely need to look at much smaller/lighter campers

You mean "payload" not "towing capacity", right?

These are the numbers

Truck 5,245 front and rear axle combined off sticker
Payload 1,800
GVWR of truck 7,100
TT hitch weight 585
TT Dry Weight 4,695
TT GVCW loaded Weight 6,695
Total GCWR TT & Truck 13,500

I guess what I see is that hitch load off 7100= payload left on truck 1,215

7,100 and 6695 = 13,795 GCWR

If I don't Load the truck with the additional 1,200 And don't load the trailer with 2,000 lbs of stuff I should be ok right. New to this I may not Understand. That would be 3,200 lbs of stuff

payload 1800 congrates

1800-585(600) your left with 1200lbs that the truck can still hold..not tow, just added weight to the truck..passangers,cargo/gear..etc...

you'll be fine use the tow haul mode.. and don't force the hills..

the dry weight might not even be the weight of the trailer when you get it but with a payload capacity for the truck of 1800... assuming you max the gross out (which hopefully you won't but you'll likely add at least 1000 pds to it) you're tongue weight will be some where around 710-1200 (because the hitch weight listed in your quote is the dry hitch weight) and you already have a wdh, you're looking good.

only thing I would be mindful of is, if you tongue weight was the max of ideal at 15%, that's more than your factory hitch can carry even with a WDH. personally I think 12-13% is perfect. and at 12-13%, you have 900 pds left for the truck

What sticker says 5245 for axles combined?
Payload of 1800 for a super crew non HD 7100 GVW truck?
Sorry I don't mean to question your numbers but I am confused where they came from.
