Yep, came off my 2014 that got wrecked last January. I had snows on, so the wheels and tires got spared. Same tires too with 68K miles on them. They are also my favorite wheels. Reason I bought the 2014 was because of the wheels.

This did not end well ...
As part of our cross-country move, I bought an old derelict GMC Safari van to use as a cargo trailer. I also picked up a tow dolly. Loaded the van with a bunch of stuff the movers wouldn't take and headed off into the sunset. We got to Idaho before the LF tire on the van exploded and started rubbing on the dolly's wheel. We made it to the U-Haul place where we unloaded everything, then headed down to Salt Lake to drop the dolly/van combination at the folks' place. Never made it to Utah, though. About 50 miles south of Pocatello I felt something strange back there, so I slowed down just before the tow dolly's tire blew. 30 intense seconds later we were stopped safely at the side of I-15. The tow dolly's tire didn't blow, after all. The wheel disintegrated! There was still a ring of lug nuts attached to the dolly's hub, and the rest of the wheel was at about a 40 degree angle to the axle, as the wheel was no longer attached to its hub.
At this point I was just totally PO'd with the whole setup, and when the wrecker driver came I told him to haul the whole thing off and scrap it. And I never saw it again!

a) I wanted a tow dolly, and this seemed like a fine opportunity to sneak one in.
b) I figured I could sell the van for about what I paid for it.
Neither one of these worked out! <grumble, grumble>
