I am very confused on what exactly the max tow package is and if I have it on my truck or not. I have looked up what it does and doesn’t come with on the truck, problem is I have half the items it stats like: Class IV trailer hitch receiver
Integrated Trailer Brake Controller
Upgraded front stabilizer bar
Upgraded rear bumper
upgraded front bumper
3.73 electronic rear locking axle
36 Gallon tank
Transmission cooler
oil cooler
5 pin/7 pin wiring harness.
What I don’t have that ford says comes with the max tow package is
3.55 electronic locking rear end
6.5 foot bed
Folding trailer/towing mirrors
and so on and so forth
I have half the **** it comes with and I’d like to know exactly how to determine if I have it or not. If you have a stupid answer you will get a stupid response in return. Yes I have already looked at the door sticker, Just some advance on how I can identify wether or not I have it

Look at your trailer chain connections under the bumper. Are they welded on straight across or angled? Angled is max tow.
If yours look like this it is not max tow. Pic of my 2011 with 53A tow package.

They’re angled exactly like yours 👍 So is it unusual to have a class 5 hitch without the max tow package? Just something that was ordered on the truck when new possibly?

I think most 11-14 F150s with class IV hitches are OEM factory installed. They will not have the heavier Max Tow frame and rear axle. And may not include a brake controller. Either way is pretty common. Max Tow is not.

Although I'm kinda afraid to help based on the tone in the last paragraph, we are all friendly around here.
Based on this article, 8-10k https://letstowthat.com/2013-2014-fo...wing-capacity/
As someone as me who owns a true 2020 3.5 maxtow with 1760 available payload, I assure you a 25' TT about 8k is the max I would put behind it (at least very far). If you are towing a flatbed with steel (minimal wind), sure, 8-9k maybe. Others will be along with a different opinion you might like better.

IMO I wouldn't worry much about whether I had Max Tow or not. As said above somewhere around 8000 lbs is as much as you should put behind MOST 1/2 ton trucks. There are exceptions and under the right conditions, with the right truck, a bit more could be towed. But it is almost always payload that bites you in the butt regardless of what it is rated to tow.
