Default Tow Hooks

I have a 2wd 2013 screw. There are no tow hooks on the front. I would like to add them. Is that possible? Any major mods need to be done, or is it a matter of buying the tow hooks and bolting them on?

Look up under the front and see if there are mounting holes in the frame for tow hooks and then let me know...

On the passenger side there are 2 holes about 1/2" in diameter spaced about 3-4" apart on the frame.
I didn't check the driver side

Yep - that's where they bolt onto the frame.


Here's a picture of some chrome ones that are on eBay right now - much more $$$ than I think they're worth, but you can see how the holes will line up with the holes you saw on your frame. Just a couple bolts to hold them on:

I guess I have to cut some plastic to install the hooks? There is freaking plastic every where down there LOL

After you get the tow hooks installed on the front, don't neglect the rear!!!


My truck came with black tow hooks, and I wanted chrome. I found a good deal for a pair on eBay and installed them.


I was going to sell my black ones, but saw a thread about installing them on the rear ala Raptor. It only costs a few bux for some square U-bolts to easily and quickly bolt them onto the hitch.

How do these install on the rear? Simple bolt to frame or hitch or is there more to it?
