topper interferes with chmsl 360 camera
I just ordered a 22 F150 Lariat, SC/LB 5.0, with the 360 degree camera system. 501A option, with max trailer tow. I will be getting a cab-hi or mid-rise topper. So the chmsl camera will be obstructed. Does anyone have advice or experience moving this camera either to the topper brake light, or elevating it so it is useful? Or any other options? Thanks in advance for any help! I currently have a 2018 F150 Lariat, replacing before needed as I fear the Supercab will be discontinued like the other mfg's. Thanks! Phil
Have you read the owner's manual? Look in the section about installing a camper or shell.
No, those cameras cannot be simply moved. They're calibrated to distort the image so it appears to be from overhead.

Thanks! I just ordered the truck, so I haven't read the owners manual yet. If its similar to earlier models, I will see if there is something online, or, go to a dealer and look in the glove box of a 21/22. Anyone else have anything to add? Phil
Download the closest year available here - it's easier to search a PDF: http://www.fleet.ford.com/partsandse...owner-manuals/
Thanks! 750 pages, wow, and a lot of "if so equipped". Anyway under the 360 camera section, I found info about a slide in camper, but nothing about a camper shell. I will go through it more thoroughly when we have a snow-day here in Denver. Thanks to you guys for helping out. Does anyone know if the "aux" camera is available for the back of my trailer? Thanks again, Phil

Is the rear cab camera even part of the overhead view? The bed blocks the sides and rear close to the truck, I would think they have to use the side mirror and tailgate cameras to get proper views of what's around you, so you don't run over small children.
