+1 on the Blue Ox. Very easy to install/setup, and with a long handle, swivel head 1/2" ratchet and 3/4" deep socket, really easy to hook up and release the cams. The tension on the chains and bars give it the 4 point sway, just like Equilizer does, but without friction. The chain tension pushes both bars forwards so that it locks the trailer in place.

I used a standard round bar WDH for many years and it worked well. Changed to a Equalizer about 8 years ago and have no major complaints but the ride is a bit stiffer then the round bar. I personally wouldn’t get the BO because of how it works as mountaintruck described. The centering force it applies increases lateral loads at the ball which gets transmitted through to the tow vehicle. This is the very loading that the vehicle ESC is designed to detect and correct, not a good thing in my opinion. BO recommends turning off TSC/ESC

The parts mgr at my RV dealer uses and swears by the Andersen for lighter trailers. He did say during hot weather the rubber grommet on the adjuster can loosen up so you need to keep an eye on it and tighten the bolt.

As to hitches I just stick with the Equal-i-zer 4-way. I've had good results with them and see no reason to change plus the pops and groans let me know it's working.

I don't know yet how it works but I just scored a great deal on a very lightly use Equilizer to go with my ordered truck. I will say it is light years better made then the offshore chain WDH I presently use. I just ordered the nylon bushings that apparently cut down on the noise from the Equalizer's bars.
