Default Strange Question

So I have a 2016 F150 3.5 with the tow package, 145" WB. I'm towing a 24x8.5 car hauler that's 7100 lbs with the car in it with about 1000 lbs tongue weight. With my BlueOx Swaypro, I have no issues with sway whatsoever but I do have the common issue of being sucked in by passing trucks and buses and it's very disconcerting. My truck has
LT tires and the scale says I'm within spec, with all but 20 lbs being distributed back to the front axle from the weight distribution hitch. I towed a 20' enclosed with my old 2013 Ecoboost with a regular Curt hitch and had far less issues with wind and semis, but I've never towed this trailer with the old body style. Is this something I can fix on my current truck, should I be looking at an F250 or would a 13-14 Max Tow cure the issue?

Also, Blue Ox recommended a Hellwig Swaybar to help stabilize the truck under load. I don't see how that will make a difference in getting pushed by the wind but maybe someone has a better answer

I am battling a similar issue, just not when being passed as I get the normal push pull where the entire rig moves as one, but one where the truck is oscillating. What I thought was sway is something else as the trailer is not moving opposite of the truck, but with it.

My hitch is setup perfectly, just confirmed it today at the scales, but I don't think the hitch is the issue either. I added Sumosprings to stiffen the rear much the same was a Hellwig would do, but that didn't help any either.

The truck moves around so much that if someone is prone to being car sick, they will be in the truck.

My previous truck that towed this trailer was a 2014 and it pulled just fine, so I don't know what to do next. Would hate to spend $700 on a new hitch only to have it continue to handle like it does. It doesn't get blown around, it just handles poorly.

Agreed, the 360* camera is fun to use, and very handy. Love the LED headlights, best lights I have ever had on a vehicle. Now that I added some padding to my seat, it is comfortable to drive. The new SYNC 3 is great, makes MFT look like a Timex Sinclair. The truck has more than enough power, gets great gas mileage, and is very quiet.

I know, get a chassis from a 14 and drop the 16 body on, WIN!

The rep at Blue Ox tech support suggested it. It definitely wasn't an official recommendation but something he's seen help other people. I just don't see what a swaybar will do about wind dragging the truck around

Is it just the trailer being sucked over or is the whole truck and trailer combo pulling together?

If its together then I dont really know what to say other than you just counter steer it or slow down. If its just the trailer than maybe more sway control to help keep it in line.

Ite wll going together. The trailer follows and when I steer back into it the truck straightens out. Just very uncomfortable
