So I have an 08 f150 with the regular side view mirrors on them. I just bought it and I want to add some factory trailer tow mirrors. The mirrors I have aren't equipped with heat or blinkers or puddle lights. I found the ones I want to put on at rockauto.com; they are heated and have lights. My question is.... Does anybody know if ford wires their trucks for Upgraded mirrors, but put on the base mirrors? Is that possible? Is it going to be an easy swap?

 

06 + are pre wired to run sigs and puddle lamp...mine was, just had to match color pins in mirror to color pins in door
