Default Right Brake Controller?

Will this brake controller work with the truck in my sig? I plan to use it with my 5000# travel trailer. Also is it the right wire adapter? For the price it cannot be beaten.

That's a really primitive Curt brake controller. It "activates the trailer brakes at a preset intensity" whenever you touch the pedal.

Do yourself a favour and get a Prodigy 2 (or 3). They use an inertial controller to adjust the amount of braking.

They're more expensive though. But trailer brakes need all the help they can get.
