That’s what I use, I also use it in the neck bearing of my Harley-Davidson because it doesn’t run...

Sounds like the right stuff!
I keep a infrared temp gun with me to get a heads up of any issues on my campers axles.

I hope so, I usually just grab the hub for the burn my hand test to check bearing temp after a long run. I have the axis safe t lube bearings, and I was unsure of the grease in them so I stared off fresh before pumping them full of another type.

If your lucky enough to have the papers that came with the TT from new you'll see that it probably has Dexter or Liptor axles. The manual will specify a certain rating. IIR its a GLxxx minimum base. I use Amsoil grease for mine.

I have torsion axles made by axis, and was lucky enough to get all the manuals when I purchased my TT. The greases they suggested I couldn’t find at the 3 stores I went to, but the red n tack was at all 3. It had a drop point of 540 and had the highest test ratings. Hopefully it doesn’t turn to a liquid is my main concern.

You can also go the other way and use too thick of a grease and end up with drag and hot spots...

I use axle grease...I also own 5 trailers.
If you do your due diligence and service the axles and tires regularly based on usage you should never have the need for a thermometer.

Bearing buddies make greasing axle bearings pretty easy.
