Default RAS Ride Height Issue

Hey guy’s !
I’ve got a riddler for ya. I installed a set of RAS to compliment the 5100’s for towing on my 21. So the issue being I’ve got about 3/4” or so difference of height difference between sides. That’s measured at the wheel opening. I checked and reset both sides equally, I’ve driven it a bit as well thinking it may settle, but still have the difference. I’m stumped ! Should I increase the RAS on one side to compensate ?

Thanks but the height increase is not the issue, the issue being the height increase is not equal from side to side. There’s like 3/4” difference between left to right sides.

Was there a height difference before? The fuel tank does sit on the driver's side, and also if the ground isnt level it could affect measurements as well.

Fellow HD RAS owner and no such issue on mine. If you tensioned the coil equally using the 1mm or 2mm spacer then RAS should have the same dimensions on both wheels. Therefore I suspect the difference exists without the RAS. I don't know about using RAS to compensate for it.

If you use RAS to compensate for uneven height, you're stressing the weak spring, which will lead to it's early demise.

Sounds like a setup issue, unless OP conveniently failed to mention he installed RAS to correct an unequal height.

What side is lower?

Also, what size fuel tank and how much fuel when measuring?

Also, with the RAS removed, is it even?

On my 2018 my passenger side sat 1/2 inch lower then the driver side which always confused me...figured with a full tank the driver side would be slightly lower.

36 gallons of fuel sits on the drivers side. Depending on the level of the tank the drivers side may not sit evenly with the passenger side. I've seen the same thing on my truck. 36 gallons of gas is >200 lbs.

Thanks guys ! The set up was done with less than 1/4 tank. It’s a 36 gal tank. So that shouldn’t affect the height difference I’m seeing. And I did not install to compensate.
I’ll probably pull of the RAS and check it without to see if there’s a difference and go from there.
