Default Plow setups

Looking to see some pictures of your plow setups, especially on the 2021+ years. Have a 22 on order and curious how the plow attachments are installed on the truck on the 21+ with the active air dam. My coworker has a silverado and the bumper is cut up horribly and looks awful (fisher HT). Hoping that's not the case with the F150

I don't have a picture of my truck with the plow on it, but you can clearly see the bracket. Just an FYI that this is a Platinum with a 3.5 ecoboost. The plow is only used for my own driveway, and never leaves my property.

So finally got the truck and plow hooked up. For a fisher HT, the push plates don't look terrible and don't cut up the bumper a lot. Also, if you opt for plow prep, the active air dam is deleted.

Enigma i ordered my F150 with the 3.5 ecoboost before I knew I'd be buying a house with a long driveway. I was told by the Fisher dealer and Ford dealer my truck can't handle the snowplow. Just curious how you got the plow setup?

Meh, personal use, I wouldn't hesitate to install any plow that will work for your driveway. Commercial use, hitting things you are unaware of, that's another story.

Hi Matt. It definitely won't take a Fisher plow. No Boss or Fisher dealer will ever install one of their plows on anything with the ecoboost motor. That said, Sno-Way specifically makes a plow that is designed to work specifically with the ecoboost motor. It's an excellent plow, and all steel. It's not some plastic homehowner special junk. I've owned several Fisher plows, and I like the Sno-Way plow much better. It has a wireless remote (it makes attaching the plow far more simple), and the blade lifts higher. Just go onto Sno-Way's website to find a dealer in your area. Good luck.

Big thanks Enigma for that info. It sounds promising. Been racking my brain thinking about my options. Gonna go down that road.

Sure thing Matt. You'll have no issue finding a Sno-Way dealer near you. They're a company who has been in business for a very long time. I also live in the same part of the country as you do, so can tell you they're everywhere. Just be prepared, because I think that particular plow sells for close to $7K these days (if you need them to install it). It's a great setup, and you'll never have any issue. I had the same exact plow setup on my 2016 F-150, and it worked flawlessly, for my needs.

At 7K for a plow you may want to look in another direction. I purchased a c-force 600 ATV and plow for under 10k this year. I haven't plowed with it yet but it should do a good job and I have the ATV for other jobs and fun the rest of the year

Thanks for throwing that out there and thanks again Enigma. I'm leaning sno-way but haven't made the final decision. I went to the sno-way dealer yesterday and spoke with the guys for a long time about the whole setup and everything about it. I came away feeling pretty good about the install on my truck and the plow itself. My driveway is a few hundred yards long and I try to get into the office by 7.
