Default Places for best deals on WDH?

I am putting some thought into putting my Husky back on the Horse trailer it came off of and getting a more advanced hitch and just getting it over with. At least if I do then I will be set in case I upgrade to a larger trailer in a few years.

So who has the best pricing on Blue Ox or Equalizers?

When I bought my Blue Ox, Amazon was cheapest.

Picked up my Equalizer through PPL Motorhomes. Had the best pricing at that time and shipping was really fast.

As a general rule, eTrailer.com and Amazon.com prices on the better hitches such as Equal-I-Zer and Blue Ox SwayPro are hard to beat. For example, here is the Equal-I-Zer 1,200 TW from eTrailer.com.

Blue Ox has 1,000 and 1,500 TW hitches for the same price of $615 from eTrailer.com. A bit higher than for a comparable Equal-I-Zer, but the Blue Ox fans swear the Blue Ox is worth the difference.

Just bought the Blue Ox Sway Pro on Amozon this week for $545 - and that was about $8 higher than the cheapest seller there. I went with an Amazon distribution point instead of a 3rd party retailer to ensure the delivery was in time for picking up the new TT this weekend.

X4 on the Blue Ox Sway Pro and purchasing it on Amazon. The Amazon price on the Blue Ox Sway Pro does fluctuate, however, if you are in no rush, this can work in your favor. I purchased from another on-line vendor first, and the package/hitch arrived damaged. I returned it, and then decided to go with Amazon, and experienced no order problems.

If I were purchasing from Amazon, make sure you buy it from Amazon not another retailer but fulfilled by Amazon, or a VERY WELL KNOWN REPUTABLE dealer. There's been knock offs sold there and you do not want a hitch to break and injure your family.

Etrailer sells this hitch at a decent price.

People are making knock offs of WD hitches? Got any references, I'd like to read them. I did buy knock off shooting ear muffs. Amazon fulfilled too.

I got 3 hitches for sale near me on Craigslist.

2 Different Blue Ox's. One for $300 and one for $400 thought both for 10,000/1,000.

Also there is an Equalizer for $365.

All three look to include everything needed to hook up.

I believe someone stated that an equalizer needed to be drilled in the trailer frame. Is this correct? What about the Blue Ox.

These as would be on a rental trailer. 29ft total length. 5k weight dry and 7800 GVWR.

Thanks
