If you care about the bike, the truck, and yourself, it doesn't seem like much to me. Throw the strap out, hook it to the truck bed, velcro it to the spoke, & drive up. DONE.

Not the taking of care, but the ease of using a winch.

Using; maybe. But installing... Running the wires safely to the back of the truck... The space a winch occupies in the bed... Making the bed strong enough for the load the winch will apply... And the OP wanted the ability to load in several locations, which would be difficult &/or expensive with a winch. Of course there are several ways of doing anything; I just see lower cost & more versatility with the strap, using the bike as its own winch motor.

FedEx just dropped it off. I can see this is gonna be a breeze to load my bike or z turn mower.

Compact storage is a nice feature. I can easily fit all 3 pieces in the back seat area if need be.

That’s awesome. Thanks for the update. I need something like this too. 20 yrs ago I could easily put my sport bike in the bed....now, I don’t want to try it. A few weeks ago I took two bikes down to TN in my trailer. It was nice during transit, but having no trailer would’ve been a lot easier to deal with. Looks like I’ll be ordering one too.

A rail mounted across the front of the bed lets you put a winch wherever you want. It's been done and posted on the forum. You can mount a winch to a bracket with attachment points for ratchet straps, and run them to the stake pockets.

No need to run wires to the rear if you run it off a battery. Made a fake trailer out of a 7-pin plug for a friend so the aux12V is enabled while he drives. It keeps a battery mounted in the bed charged so he can load and unload his A Twin and ATV. Two small wires from the back of the 7-pin to the battery was a simple install.
