Default New F150 owner and confused about towing weight

Hi All,

Just bought a new 2017 F-150 and traded in my 2012 Jeep Wrangler. I see from reading post that many are confused about towing weight. I fall in that category too. When I bought it the salesman said it would tow 12,100. After buying it I looked around and the ford website said 8,900. Called salesman back and he said he made a mistake and that it was 10,600. Can anyone help me on what this can safely tow.

Specs:
17 F-150 XLT
Super cab (Crew Cab) Short Bed
V8 FFV engine
4x4
FX4 package (if it matters)
Class IV hitch
Trailer sway control
Front Gawr: 3450
GVWR: 7000
Rear GAWR: 3800
20" wheels
3.31 Locking RR axle

Thanks for any insight.

mg

Is it the SuperCab (4doors, but back ones are smaller than the front) or SuperCrew (all 4 doors are full size)?

From the towing guide

SuperCrew: from 8900# to 10800# depending on the axle...

I have two stickers, the one that has some yellow says " Tire and Load information" then only shows "The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed 1929 lbs".
