Spent time a few dealers this week and the 3.5 EBs (w/ XLT, Sport, 2WD, Screw) look to be about 1861, which is a 250lb increase which is pretty perfect for my needs. Trying to make a deal this week

You must be down south to be able to find 2WD trucks. I had to special order mine to get one. I don't need 4WD, been perfectly fine for 40 years driving RWD in IL so saved close to $4K instead. I don't like sunquariums either, and every single truck up here has one. It was worth the wait though! GL in what you find.

socal actually - picked up the 3.5 yesterday and got 1861 on the sticker.

they gave me $26k for my 2018 trade-in, kind of shocked at that.

Nice to hear you found something that works for you. If you managed to get s Max Tow at that weight you will enjoy the bigger fuel tank. Truth be told I would likely buy one anyway because it isn't like you actually have to put the extra 60 lb of fuel in it.

Yeah, it has max tow

My only question is what else should i subtract from 1861? I know passengers (including driver), cargo, and tongue weight. But i mean if nobody is in the car and the tanks are full, what else comes off of that 1861? The dealer left wheel well liners in, but everything else is factory, i believe (max tow, xlt sport, xlt power package, 2wd, running boards)

Only filling up once a month, or once a day while traveling, is awesome. I tried running a partial tank for a while, but eventually formed the habit of checking gas prices once the gas warning lights comes on, and filling the tank when it goes low, saving $6-7.

Do you actually get 36gal? I filled it up after purchase and it went from "2 miles remaining in tank" to 30gal at the pump.

One guy on YouTube got 49 mi after zero and was romping on it because he got bored waiting on it to run out. I've heard of guys going as high as 70.

Next time after it clicks off on high wait 30 seconds for the foam to settle and then run it on low until it clicks again.

My truck usually takes about 25.0 gal (26.0 gal tank) at zero using the above method but I have a 26 gal tank.

One the guy put 26.5 gallons in a 23.0 gal tank.

The point is info is all over the map and without making sure to get a good fill and running her all the way out (Make sure you have the adapter or your can works with the capless set-up) with a can of gas in the bed before refilling I don't know what to tell you.

Oops! Your in Cali. Pump hold on catches may be illegal and I'm not sure if the way the vapor catch system on the pumps is designed could cause early cutoff.

Anything that was not factory installed will take away from payload, but as it left the factory, that includes if the wheel well liners are Ford installed at the factory, would be the curb weight and a full tank of fuel leaving the 1861 payload. Fuel is included in the curb weight.
