What does your transmission temperature run pulling that trailer?

The result is a max tow rating of 13,200 pounds—1,000 pounds more than last year."

Ah, so they only beefed up the part after the axle, not the entire frame, well that would be why they measured the same then. Since I didn't crawl under the truck, only measured what could be access through the rear wheel well, I wouldn't have look at the cross members.

IF, thats a big *IF*, the frame is what is causing the unusual sway induction on rough roads by twisting above the axle, hopefully the heavier cross members solve it.

I know this continues to be off topic, but I am very interested in this as well.

100lbs under Rear Axle weight rating. Trailer weighed in at 7100lbs. Truck towed great.

2015 Platinum 4x4 FX4 3.5EB 3.31 towing pkg 1495lb max payload off the yellow sticker. Just put new 275/60 Cooper Discoverer ATP tires on before picking up the camper. Camper is a 2017 Kodiak 291RESL from Jack's in Piedmont, SD (picked up in Mitchell). Made the 4hr trip home effortlessly. Didn't matter what speed we went between 60-75 it got about 7.5mpg.

Using an EAZ Trekker WDH.

Someone in the TV is really happy to get on the road
