Default increase towing capacity

2016 XLT with towing package . Going to tow GVRW 7225 camper trailer with Ramptek RZR S 800 mount in the bed. What is the easiest least expensive way to increase suspension capacity.. 2.7 ecoboost. Going to have 5 passengers luggage and dirt bikes in the trailer.

Trade in the F150 for a F250 F350. Always the easiest way and the only way you are going to get close to the numbers of a RZR in the bed while pulling a trailer. Heck I doubt you would be in specs to just pull the trailer with 5 people in the truck.

Sure you can add airbags and all kinds of other stuff to make it look good but you better brush up your skills at replacing axle bearings and seals as you will blow them with that kind of weight. There is a huge difference in the rear axle between a F150 and even a F250.

so what everyone is sayin is there isnt a leaf spring or aftermarket package that can increase suspension enough to haul what I want? I need a different axle that can handle the weight? Maybe there is an upgrade that includes an axle swap?

Your max weight stats are based on suspension, frame, axle etc. It's a combination, and the only "kit" for that is called an F250.

Post your yellow door jamb sticker and we can see what your actual max tow is.

Sure the cab on a F150 is technically the same as a F250 or F350 so you could move your cab over to a F350 and do it.

Seriously, you can do what you want and add air bags, springs or other stuff but you will find in the long run it will be cheaper to just buy the right truck for the job. The amount spent on swapping axles out, springs and all the other stuff still is a net result in a frame that isn't going to take the weight. Where are you going to stop? In the end if you get into an accident and someone gets seriously hurt if the police look at the payload sticker and see what you are hauling you are likely going to be in trouble. Why risk it? Lets say you swap a rear axle. Is it 4wd? Well if the gear ratio isn't the same now you are messing with that as well. It isn't just worth it.

Sure a lot of people out there have to have the truck as a daily driver and they don't want the harsh ride of a F350 as a daily when they maybe only need the ability a couple times a year. Well, what about buying or renting another F150 (or other make). With 5 people you probably have 2 drivers at least. That way one pulls the trailer with the motorcycles and the other a utility trailer with the RZR. Just a thought and now you are dividing up your people as well which will help that payload issue.

There just isn't a way to make this kind of load. Heck 5 people with the trailer and motorcycles is going to be over unless 3 of the people are really small kids and that is before you put the RZR in the bed. I seriously would be kind of surprised if this load would work with a F250. That is how far over you likely are.

I can't tell if you are new here and have a legit question or if this is an alternate name and you're trying to stir the pot.

You don't really think you're going to load the cab full of people, the bed with a Razer and pull a 7,000lb RV do you?
You know you're grossly over weight (truck) and the motor isn't meant for that.

With every single broken rule, you're just here to stir the pot. Nicely done!
