I'm That Guy!
[QUOTE=Bjkb1f;6829348 Loaded for a trip with one battery and only one propane tank, it's just under 900 lbs.
We don't load our trailer to the max. We carry plenty and it's about 1,000 lbs over the trailer's listed dry weight.

I've found this to be true also. Had I looked at my trailers GVWR of 7700lbs I'd have worried during the buying process that I'm nearing the max for my F150. Turns out I'm under by over 1400lbs. I'd have gotten more gray hairs for nothing. Just something to keep in mind.
Safe travels.

Is it that heavy because of features or is it really a big camper over 32' total.
My TT is a bit lighter and 31'7" tip to tail. Even with WDH adjusted properly and anti-sway active, it can get rather sporty in higher winds if you push your speed beyond 62-65 mph.
You have been given good advice about whether you can haul it. It is up to you to be careful about doing it. Just having the proper gear doesn't override driving technique.
Be careful out there and enjoy the camper!!

It will make a difference on highway on-ramps, when you are trying to get 13,000lb to speed. Or those long 2 lane highways that have a 1-stop town every few miles.
The 10sp will negate any difference once to speed, you'll just be in a different gear. The main difference at speed exists between the 3.5 and 5.0. I do not recommend the 5.0 for towing at the limits for anyone not prepared to listen to higher rpms, or chill with lower speeds. The 3.5 peak torque almost 1500rpm lower than the 5.0, and it makes a much much higher percentage of peak torque well before peak.
Easy-peasy lemon squeezy, but you have to be willing to let the motor rev. with large sails and a five-point-oh.
