Default Front levelling kit

Thank you to all who posted in my pushing it thread. I have one other question to figure out. Since my last tow across the country I have put a levelling kit in the front of my truck. My weight distribution hitch was set without the level lift. When I hook up, truck is 1 inch higher in the front, of course due to the level. If the same weight is distributed and it’s just the height of the kit will this affect my towing? I will definitely not be towing at night. Travel will be slow and easy stopping before supper hour each day of travel. Thoughts?

Well that is why I added air bags, My level is 1.75 on the front. I use the combo of wdh and airbags to restore unloaded rear height while achieving the correct front axle load restoration.

I personally believe that having some positive rake helps in handling …And I don’t worry about having to drive at night.

You need to reset the WDH to account for the change in both angle and height of the hitch with the level.

Yep I went to great pains to do that. I have posted my Cat scales previously which showed I was in spec on all accounts. The result has been a comfortable tow at max gvwr for the truck.

here it is with unload rake restored:
