Angry Freakin' TBC!

Sorry to start a new thread, but I am not finding a resolution to this issue. I will explain my situation

2011 F150 XLT 4X4 with towing package (minus brake controller)

Purchased a new camper and wanted/needed the brake controller. Installed the recommended BL3Z-19H332-AA stock controller and the relay and fuses, that was the easy part!

Purchased the usb adapter for the OB2D port and downloaded the FORSCAN software. After taking a windows PC back from my mom whom only used it to play video poker and slots..... long story....

Went in and enabled the previously disabled trailer brake controller. Ta da! Nope!
The brake controller now will change the braking force output. When plugging in the simple 7 plug tester all is good, lights, directional, backup lights, brake lights, 12Vdc and brake feed. Hooked up the camper and get trailer disconnected and no electric brakes. All else seems to function, however I have not verified the 12Vdc feed when connected to truck.

However it always say trailer disconnected, when starting (without trailer), when adjusting output or engaging trailer brakes manually.

Hooked my brothers Ram to the camper and it is recognized on his factory controller. I also hooked my truck to another trailer and it was not recognized. Also moved the boat around the other day and connected to the 4 flat also did not recognize that trailer, but I am not sure it ever did before either?

Does not seem to be a ground issue as nothing would work. I connected everything without dropping the camper on the coupler, forcing it to use the hardwired ground.

What am I missing?

Thank in advance for your input!

Just re-visited my truck via Forscan and the only module or change I could see was to enable/disable trailer brake gain control, which I had done.

And currently this appears to be the only thing I can do?

I ran thru the menu via the steering wheel and now it appears I have an option for type of trailer brakes, electric/hyd? Cant seem to switch between them......

Its a rainy day and I thought perhaps a great day to tackle this. So far had to load parallel onto my Mac so I could run Windows, then install forscan, then install drivers for OBDLinkEX, then learn to operate Windows on Mac, buy another license to active forscan, research this issue, try ten different things, drink way too much coffee! and I am now no further ahead than previously...........

I thought I saw a few different TBC entries going through the Disable/enable in a couple different modules. So you may have change that in a few places. Also, some functions must be changed in the As Built modules and not the duplicate ones I was working in. Did you scan through the Forscan manual on the ITBC?

I went through all that showed up in Forscan. Only item related to the brake controller was enable/disable the gain showing in the dash. Which does work enabled it shows up in the dash with everything else and displays the gain as you increase and/or decrease and says trailer disconnected. But does not produce or apply any actual brake force. Also displays the ability to select between electric/electric over hydraulic brakes. Or as least that is what it implies, I cannot get it to change from electric to EOH.
