Default First winter tow.

Made my first winter trip. Had to chain up to get off my street!

Klamath falls to Bend with 30% clear roads the rest a mix of packed snow and ice. No chains only studded iPikes and not much traffic made keeping safe following distances easy. We will be opening presents with our 2 year old daughter in beautiful Tumalo falls state park. Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

Just finished pulling my 32'er from Colorado to Medford, 3 blizzards and 1 donner pass later and I survived! Oregon seems nice so far!

Damn...the way people drive in the northeast, no way I'd willingly tow on snow covered roads. Bad enough towing in the summer.

That's a great picture. I hope one day to have the same picture on my camera, phone now a days. Does your profile say your truck is a 2.7 EB. I'm new to this EB engines. But that trailer looks just like what I would like to go traveling with. Looking at new truck this summer and many questions on what truck engine to go with. Always had V8.

2.7 eco. I'm at 12200 GCVW with about 2000 miles towing with 9500 in the odometer . It does great.

Yeah, snow covered pass in California, after that, I'm not afraid of anything.

The salted roads here in New England keep me from doing that. It would ruin the camper frame and suspension.
