Default First Camping trip!

First camping trip with the new to me TT I picked up in January. We hit up the Mohican/Butler KOA. Truck handled it well, transmission temps never got much above 200. I still need to make some adjustments to the WDH though. Shes sagging a bit in the rear and the trailer is sitting a little high in the front. When we did the initial setup at the RV dealer they torqued the hell out of the bolts so I wasn't able to adjust the hitch with hand tools. Go figure. Also ordered tow mirrors but because of a warehouse issue they did not make it in time for the trip. Luckily a coworker drove out with us in his jeep and ran interference and as a spotter for me.

I didn't think to grab a picture of the two hitched up but I did get a few at the campsite with them unhitched:

Jealous.
is that by Butler, PA?
The bolts on my WDH head are speced at 380 ft. Lb.
I don't have a torque wrench that big. I just used a 24" breaker bar and pulled as hard as I could when I had to raise it after the axle flip.
My SIL has a similar size/looking Z1 but as a toyhauler 278RR.

haha Nice! I just went through there today. Was on my Scout. Took 95 to Butler, then back on 97 to 3 in Loudenville.

Have fun!

Oh how fun and jealous! Our first was cancelled by the state/county last month and this month we cancelled due to many other reason but hoping to go next month. Love seeing campers out in the woods, safe travels!

I've got 40 years before I'm at that point in life. If I make it that long.

Also wanted to add that the dealership called to tell me my tow mirrors were in... The day after I got back. lol Picked them up and installed them today. Passenger side took all of 10 minutes, drivers side would have taken that long too had it not been for a cage nut that fell off inside the door. Took me longer to pull out and put up the tools.

Looks great! My all time nightmare are dropped bolts or nut ins a crevice, pisses me off all the time and my magnets works less than half the time lol. Wish I had concrete pad like yours but one day I'll put asphalt over my gravel.

I grew up wrenching in a gravel driveway, I could find anything a week later but never when I just dropped it.

Static2606: Mirrors look great,I use snap on type and there good enough for me. Had tow mirrors on my Tundra and couldn't handle the magnification at night anymore.
Hoping by September I can get one weekend in.
