Default Finally visited a CAT scale

2016 F150 Lariat Crew cab short bed with the 2.7 ecoboost. Payload is 1408lbs. I have sumosprings and Bilsteins in the rear. Other mods to the truck include running boards and a hard tonneau cover.

1997 Aerolite 826BHD. 29 feet long including the tongue. GVWR of the trailer is 5000lbs.
I had 26 gallons of water and 2 full 30lb tanks of propane.

All of the gear was in the trailer and loaded around the axle or in front of it.

In the truck was myself, wife and 2 kids. Only thing in the bed of the truck was my 50lb generator.

Here are the numbers.

I think I will switch out my propane tanks to two 20lbs or just run 1 30lb tank in the future to save some weight.

Any advice or recommendations?

I'm guessing your trucks GVWR is either 6500 or 7000 so you look to be ok

Looks to be a good unit, weight is well within reason. Nice looking, too.

In my opinion you do not want to change out those tanks because they impact your tongue weight and the last thing you want to do is lighten your tongue weight.
Your number are within specs and if it tows well "don't fix it if it isn't broke"

Safe travels.

Nice looking rig and apparently setup correctly.
