Default F150 w/ HDPP

i ordered a '17 f150 with the hdpp. I can't get a definitive answer from the dealer or the manufacturer on this, so wanted to ask here. Does anyone know if this truck comes with the under bed rail system for connecting a 5th wheel? Sorry if my verbiage isn't exact. I think it might also be referred to as a "puck" system(?). Basically, it allows the removal of the 5th wheel without anything remaining in the bed.

I have a 2017 HDPP 5.0 4x4 screw.
Comes with nothing for 5er or goose towing & not an option from Ford.

Etrailers.com sells the F-150 specific frame plates and rails. I havent seen any other 5er system for the F-150s. If you have any question about 5er towing with your HDPP i will be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge. I tow a 30ft 5er RV with mine 8,500lbs loaded. Truck Barely squats and tows extremely well.

You're talking about the fifth wheel/gooseneck prep kit, which is available on SuperDuty pickups, but not on F-150.

Basically, it allows the removal of the 5th wheel without anything remaining in the bed.
You can achieve that with aftermarket kits, but not with anything available for an F-150 from the Ford assembly plant. The underbed "puck" system available for a SuperDuty is a Reese Elite 5er hitch with a Reese Elite install kit. But Reese doesn't make one for an F-150.

If your goal is to have a clean empty bed when the 5er hitch is removed from an F-150 SuperCrew, then one way is to install a B&W TurnOverBall gooseneck hitch then add a B&W Companion 5er hitch with a slider. Here's the whole shootin' match:

Install the B&W turnover gooseneck ball and the Andersen Ultimate fifth wheel hitch.

The B&W Companion is very heavy-hard to remove without a hoist of some sort and if you are worried about your payload it will take quite a bit of it up.

I think you're overloaded. But you knew that.
