We'll be updating those SKUs soon to reflect this.

Are any of you guys on Instagram? Was wondering if you could send us some cool pictures of your new tow mirrors installed and follow us too.

I'm sure some of you know and it's been mentioned, but the PTM caps for 1a's super duty mirrors fit the F150 mirrors. I bought them and painted them sterling grey to match my truck. Looks stellar for those who like PTM. The mirror caps are of excellent quality as well.

I have a '14 XLT with the factory Max Tow mirrors (no power fold), if I swap in a power fold factory mirror control switch, would your powerfold tow mirrors work? Or do I definitely need the "upgrade" kit with separate switch?

Our supplier hasn't informed us if the other ones listed as fitting the 13s would also fit the 14 model year, so we can't guarantee that they would.

You have to run the wire harness to the mirror. You then unplug the 2 wire square small plug on the mirrors and then plug in the matching wire from the harness into the plug going to the mirror.

In review for my kit I love the mirrors and they work like a champ. I would say it is the best money I have spent in a good while. The wire/switch kit leaves a bit to be desired. For a kit made for our model trucks you would think they would not send a universal switch which really has not place to mount on the dash that looks factory. Having a switch that replaced the factory switch in the door would of been best. Hindsight I would of not used the universal switch and followed the web directions and wired in a factory switch from the dealer.

I figured out the wiring, thanks though. Everything works like it should. I too dislike the universal switch. They could have given 1-2' more wire to each door. I could not mount the switch where I wanted (under the cab dimmer switch). I did run into a problem mounting the switch. The switch is deeper than I thought and it does not sit flush where I mounted it. I now have to get a blank switch cover and recut a new hole or figure a way for it to work. I'm not happy about that but pleased with the mirrors. I have yet to get on the road with them though.
