Default F150 Alternator Issue

Ford dealer tech says I need a new alternator. What is the recommended amps needed when towing a RV trailer with a 7 pin connector?

That question doesn't make sense

First, put your truck's COMPLETE description into your signature:

(phone app link)

Next: describe the problem you observed that caused you to take it to the dealer tech. Then tell us EVERYTHING he reported to you.

Do you have a trailer? Post a link to its web page on the manufacturer's site.

Additionally, can't fathom how much current you need when we don't know how much capacity you have in the Travel Trailer. Is your TT a 45ft behemoth with six slide outs, three power shades, a full pressure shower with electric water heater, dishwasher, microwave, sink disposal, and an 80" TV with 1000W stereo run off ten deep cycle marine batteries, or is it a 15ft sleep cabin with lights and an exhaust fan using a single low capacity car battery that can get by when needed with a 50W solar panel that is mounted to the roof?
