F-150 1/2ton. How much can I really load in it?

I have hauled 3000# of rock with my 5.0 screw FX4. Not far, 4 miles or so and wouldn't recommend it, but nothing broke and it stopped just fine. I have hauled 2000# many times with absolutely no concerns.

Best(worst?) I've done is about 3200 lb of flooring and treated wood in my F150 HD. I had the back seat flipped up and packed to the headliner with flooring, water softener and salt. Misc stuff in the front passenger seat. The rest in the bed. Knowing the scaled curb weight of my truck, it was probably at about 9500lb total. It was only 2 hrs at the speed limit on decent county roads and handled it like a champ. You knew it was in there but did well. I wouldn't have done it on purpose but didn't have a trailer and was not going to make 2 trips from 2hrs away. My old GMC would have been dragging frame
