You sure about those trailer weights? Usually you have 1500-2000lbs of capacity between dry weight and the max GVWR.

I agree with Mike, but sometimes low trailer payload = minimal axle or tires they are using. I still think your truck is fine for the task as long as these published numbers are within reason.

Here in Houston they want about 8k more for a F250 xlt

They want 8k more for a similarly equipped gas F250? If so, I'd shop somewhere other than Houston.

What I see and hear, The Dealers have an edge right now. Demand is high, supply is low. There is a thread about Carvana paying people more than they paid for a used truck. Crazy. If you find what you like, meets your needs, just roll with it. I wouldn't pay full retail unless it was what I wanted for sure.

With ILL sales tax for a truck at 7%, if I'm out the door less than the trucks sticker price I'm content. That includes title, fees etc.

When shopping for my first TT, I saw the most extreme example of this. A single 3,500 pound axle on a trailer hat weighed 3,200 pounds before adding batteries, propane, water etc. What's more, the GVWR of the trailer was also 3,500 pounds. So after propane and batteries this camper would have close to no payload. I also noticed the many trailers that are just over 3,500 pounds dry have two 3,500 pound axles and have huge payloads. It seems to be all over the place and related to what axles are commonly available.

It sounds to me like that trailer is at the upper weight range for two 3,500 pound axles - meaning more likely to bend axles or blow tires because they are always being pushed to the limit.

Nice payload with that longer steel frame. Is it just a regular cab or super cab?
To answer your question yes it's enough truck just add the WDH as others have mentioned
