If you are counting hairs to pull a big TT cross country a few times a year, you also need to step up.

For that one outrageous haul once in a blue moon, feel free to run at max tow or max payload and at max safe speed. The rest of the time, leave yourself and your vehicle some breathing room. Just because you CAN run max numbers doesn't mean you SHOULD. Sure, people do it all the time. Trucks with large loads are crashed on the side of the road all the time as well.

Feel free to excuse the derp that ran through my brain on dropping the trailer.
I think I agree to everything in this post

Holy crap, do we actually have a consensus here?

Better give it five more minutes.

Boy that's a heavy truck.
My 2.7EB 4x4 Scab weighed less than 4900 lb.
My 3.5EB 4x4 Screw weighs less than 5100 lb.

You need to jettison some of the stuff or move it to the camper. A light weight distributing hitch like an Andersen might help the RAWR problem.

I'm curious how you got so heavy back there. My 3.5EB is only 2060 lb and my 2.7EB was 1980 lb.

Yes I ended up on the wrong post somehow. It would be nice if you could see the date when posting.

Or you could check the date on the post you are responding to before typing it?

Does a weight distribution hitch count as toung weight or trailer weight? Since it moves weight forward and backwards I assume trailer weight, no?

Option C counts against payload.
