Does This Look Ok . It definitely pulled Good.
Found a blow down Cypress on my remote property today did not want to leave anything behind . Tractor is further back than usual but I figured the 3 logs would offset the difference. Load was pretty heavy but all back roads Pulled very solid up to 50 . Left transmission in 3rd 3.7 Weight Tractor 4,000. Trailer 3000. Logs 2000 9,000 total not counting camper shell and tools which would probably be another 500.
Two 10 foot and 1 14 foot cypress logs
yeah , I would never try the Interstate loaded like this. But not because of power or lack of . But
weight . I would want a F250 for weight over
8,000. But all my heavy tows are rural backroads where 40 to 50 mph is not a big deal.
Doesn’t look bad. Did it bounce off the bumpstops?
Change your hitch so you get that weight up into the chassis if you are doing this often.
I never had one but I heard that 3.7 is stout. Wish they would take something like that at a bigger displacement and put it in the F250.

I really would have thought you'd have experienced some squat with those logs on front.
But the Kubota's should not be a problem as they're very lightly built tractors. Had you had a C-50 Case or Ford 3930 tractor on there, you'd know what a real load would be.
