Default Car Towing

I am looking to buy a f150 or f250 (Manual transmission) that can tow a car and trailer. I wanted to find something 1995 or more resent. What ford would pull this weight? (approx. 5500 to 6000)

The more important thing is axle ratio I would look for a truck with 3.73 gears. That being said I know that ythe 5.4L from 1999 and newer f150 could handle that weight no problem.

Rather than model year, what's your budget?

A pre 97 f150 with a 4.9 i6 would be a great option for towing but how often would you be towing what else would you use it for and what's your budget
