I had the same problem as every one here. I went to my dealer with my trailer hooked on. Spent 2 1/2 hours with a tech riding around and hooking up different tools to get reading from the truck trailer plug. (I have made a thread about this https://www.f150forum.com/f82/finall...my-tbc-350230/

I had to make an emergency stop on the freeway with my trailer fully loaded about 8600 pounds. Went from 60-0 as quickly as I could. The trailer brakes worked perfect. The tires locked up on the trailer.

The brake controller is tied into the traction control. Upon hitting a bump in a curve and things are swaying around about the time one wonders if control is about to be lost the controller grabs the trailer brakes and brakes on some of the truck wheels and all is better virtually immediately. My trailer brakes won't lock up fully loaded and I have one axle size larger with smaller tires than that axle usually gets.

Is the controller capable of putting the same force on the brakes as pulling the break away device out. I often on hook up pull that out and skid the tires a foot or so on dirt just to make sure all wheels work.
