I have a 23 f150 and an OEM tbc. The 30 amp fuse was installed under hood. Did the programming with forscan. I get the gain number on the dash with “no trailer” I did not do anything to the module, I have seen where some updated it but not all people needed to buy a different one? When is an updated module needed? Also I’ve seen some post about using a 30 amp jumper?

 

If this is the OEM TBC that came with the truck or the dealership added, and your truck is still under warranty, why not have them correct this issue?

 

No it’s not the OEM one but it’s an OEM one. It’s one that a buddy got me from the ford truck plant. I am thinking I will need the module to make it work. I thought it would work like the 2017’s which just needed a controller and forscan…

 

Try doing a search for this using this format, I tried doing this from the upper right search threads window and got nothing.
