Default anyone towing with Falcon shocks?

I'm thinking about leveling my truck. However, I tow often enough that the factory rake is useful because it rides level when loaded and hitched. Three options I'm considering to combat sag from least expensive to most expensive:
1. Bilstein 5100 level kit plus a Firestone Ride Rite air bag to prevent sag when loaded.
2. Bilstein 5100 level kit with Roadmaster Active Suspension
Both of these systems are likely to make the ride more harsh when unloaded
3. Teraflex Falcon tow/haul leveling kit.
I can't find any reviews of the Falcon set up in regard to towing. They all just blather on about the impressive off road capability. Ive included some pics of the truck in various stages of use. anyone running the Falcon set up and towing?

I haven't seen anyone run the Falcon shocks on our trucks. I have seen them in person on a bunch of Wranglers.

I don't understand the Falcons though. For that kind of money I am not sure why you wouldnt just go with a full on coil-over like a Fox or Icon.

And if you are considering the Falcons, why are you not also looking at the Bilstein 6112's as well which are like 1/2 the price and fall in between them and the 5100's.

I see your point about the price in regards to the Falcon$$$$. The Bilstein 6112 set up is 2x the the price of the 5100 and I'm trying to factor in the cost of squat elimination while towing. If the Falcon set up was capable of anti squat with out the additional components I thought I could maybe get the best of both worlds. But now that you got my head spinning I could do the 6112's $$ and try a Sumo Spring or stay cheaper and 5100 $ with Sumo.
PS I noticed your signature shows 5100's and Air Bags. How is it?

I dont think the Falcons help with regards to squat. I think their dampening is just tuned more for towing(if you get the tow/haul version). You are still going to need airbags or similar to help with the squat.

The 5100's are solid. I would think about going up to something better if I was off-roading more but generally my truck is on the road and used to tow my travel trailer. They definately make a dramatic improvement in the ride loaded and unloaded. The truck is just better controlled all around and rides smoother. The shocks are technically stiffer than stock but it takes a lot of the jitters and weird vibrations out of the suspension. It also helps keep the rear end under control during mid-corner bumps infinitely better than the stock shocks.

I don't really fully utilize the air bags because I run a weight distributing hitch with my trailer so that pretty much takes care of things. If I put some stuff in the bed while towing then I will inflate the bags a little to compensate but still rely mostly on the WDH. There have been a few times where I have towed my trailer shorter distance without the WDH and just set bags to 50 psi or so and it handles extremely well.

I am in Utah as well BTW. Near Kamas.

If you tow quite a bit why level the truck? Seems like a lot of unnecessary expense to fix what the level will cause.

FYI, I doubt you will notice any difference in unloaded ride with RAS installed, I didn't. You can use them to raise the rear, with the thinner spacer gauge I got 5/8" to 3/4" lift. It was a huge benefit in ride and handling with the fiver hitched up.

Improved approach angle for the occasional off road stint. And of course... vanity.

Which RAS did you install? The standard duty or the Heavy Duty version? Still satisfied with it? TIA

May combine the HD with the Falcon Tow/haul Kit for the adjustable shocks and ability to go 1" above stock on the front. I personally like the racked look and want to be level when towing.

5100 are also an option ( and less expensive!) but no adjustability on the rear.

I have a level kit, 5100's in the rear and AirLift 2000 bags in the back. Unloaded there is absolutely no difference in ride and when loaded I can still raise the rear higher than with no load.

I don't know anything about Falcon shocks, but I do not see how they could help with preventing squat when towing. Shocks only control the ride and dampening, they don't support load (your leaf springs support the load). I am using the AirLift 2000 bags with my Fox leveling kit and the airbags work great. Deflated I don't know they are there and then I can fill them up when I have the trailer hooked up or a heavy load in the bed. I'm currently using a bicycle pump to pump up the airbags as needed since I hardly ever use them, but if I towed or hauled more often I would get the AirLift compressor to fill them automatically.
