Default Any Good 2016 F150 Tow Mirrors?

Looks like I'm getting close to finding a model I need.

My dealer has 2 with the 5.0L, Crew Cab, 4WD, 3.73 locker, 36 gallon tank, and brake controller.

All the F150 in the area do not come with factory tow mirrors, even the Max Tow Ecoboost trucks. The only models I'm seeing with Tow mirrors are the Limited Models, which I won't be buying.

Doesn't look like K-Source makes clip on mirrors for the new F150s, the **** custom mirrors I have for the 2012 scratched the mirror backs, and the 2016 don't look any better.

The only ones that look good with great reviews are the Longview custom mirrors.

I'd love to have the Factory mirrors, but parts only sells a none powered glass tow mirror, NO THANKS. Don't know why they don't offer a powered mirror tow mirror like they did on the previous generation.

Thanks for any help.

Yes they do. I have them. Just ask the dealer they can put them on for you

You misread something, somewhere. Ford parts will sell you the tow mirrors for your new truck, but they'll charge you parts-counter prices if the mirrors you want are not in the accessories catalog yet. Here's the left-side tow mirror for a 2015/2016 F-150 XLT that includes POWER, W/TRAILER TOW, W/TELESCOPING, W/O BLIND SPOT MONITOR, W/BLACK TRIM
http://parts.autonationfordwhitebear...&position=left

$564 discount price for the driver side, plus another $499 for the right side

I suspect you're talking about the more reasonably-priced tow mirror kits available from the F-150 accessories catalog. Those mirrors above should be around $650 discount price when they are available in the accessories catalog.

But right now is too early for the aftermarket parts suppliers to engineer, design and produce the aftermarket kits with the fancier tow mirrors. But you can bet they'll be available any day now.

Until around February, 2016, not even the manual XL tow mirrors were available in the Accessories catalog for the 2015-up F-150. But continue watching that catalog and you'll probably first see the XLT version in a few weeks, then the Lariat version in a few months. http://accessories.ford.com/exterior...ror-11225.html

XLT version adds power glass, Lariat version adds power fold and power telescope, memory and automatic dimming glass. Luxury versions may add even more doo-dads, but don't expect them to be in the accessories catalog until next model year.

For my 2012, I wasn't willing to pay the freight for the memory tow mirrors, so I got the XLT version and have been perfectly happy with them.

When not towing, it requires about a half-hour to R&R my outside mirrors. So if I want memory and auto-dim without the tow mirrors, I can reinstall my Lariat regular mirrors in about a half hour. But so far I haven't been tempted to do that R&R.

The way I see it if they really want to make a sale tell them that one of those trucks will have tow mirrors on it next time I come back. Your money your way....

The harnesses are FL3Z-14631F and FL3Z-14630C

Change the harnesses and bolt on and plug in the mirrors. They will have all the options that your 2016 has now.

The only thing is that they are expensive.

I have not been following the aftermarket but have you checked in with A1 Auto?

That's where I got mine, for an 04-08, and the price is great and am very happy with the quality. They are also a vendor on this site. Worth looking into. Check in with Tony and he can tell you exactly what they have and don't have available.

Here's a link to his post for my mirrors.
